Yudi JungleVine® Tote Bag is made of 100% sustainable JungleVine® fiber and dyed with organic turmeric using ancient dying techniques. The name Yudi means “live well” in Lao, and is often used in the phrase “Yu di mee hang”, which means “Live well with strength or energy.” It is a wish you make for someone to be well emotionally and physically, a philosophy shared by the Khmu artisans who craft the bags and the JungleVine® Foundation. The rich turmeric-dyed bands of color on the bags are all different, due to their handmade nature. They vary from warm yellow and gold hues to mocha to a beautiful gradient of bold orange to peach. The name & this company is from Iowa caught my attention first! Then their story about these artisans making these products from free growing plants was impressive. The cost is reasonable! So I ordered a few items to expand our bath and personal care section with unique products or create gift baskets friends & family. Handmade purses and shopping bags sell well in our store .
