Native to southeast Asia and widely planted throughout tropical and subtropical regions worldwide, Camphor is famous for its beautiful burls. Sometimes called Cinnamon Burl, Camphor is cultivated for its aromatic oils which are used in a variety of culinary and medicinal applications. In addition to its medicinal values, the lingering scent of Camphor is also reported to inhibit silver from tarnishing, to ward off moths, and is sometimes used in storage trunks and chests. Each pair is finished with a high gloss epoxy resin that provides a jewel like luster while adding strength and stability to the wood. Approximately 1 7/8 inches long and 1 1/8 inches wide.
