This green clay comes from a very environmentally and socially conscious French company located in the region next to where I live! This clay is sourced locally, dried in the sun, and is pure and untreated in any way. Montmorillonite clay is especially rich in silica, aiding in skin elasticity and hydration. It also has a powerful drawing action, drawing impurities and toxins from the skin. My two favorite spa uses of clay are facial masques and baths. If you are prone to dry skin, don't let the masque dry completely. Re-wet your face with a splash of water or a spritz of hydrosol.
