The slot can also be used for wrapping leather / para-cord for a comfortable grip. The tang is 3/16" thick with a skinning blade for everyday use. Comes with a custom sheath that fits the knife like a glove. We used BROWN Sheep's Neck Skin and hand formed to fit this functional art piece to perfection.
