Wholesale Decade of Pop Prints and Multiples MCASD Catalog

This publication celebrates collector Frank Mitzel's generous gift of more than sixty Pop art prints to the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and marks the public debut of the exhibition A Decade of Pop Prints and Multiples, 1962-1972. Mitzel first began acquiring prints when he moved to Southern California in 1990, and proceeded to assemble his collection over the following three decades. Together, these works constitute an impressive and valuable survey of Pop's growth across the United States, England, and Europe during an era of rapid transformation.
