Bird lovers unite! In the spring of 2023, Megan downloaded the Merlin Bird ID app by Cornell Labs — a fun and savvy tool that identifies the birds around you by listening to their calls and songs. It wasn't long before the entire SFF team was dipping their toes into the world of ornithology — and now you can too! Exclusively designed by Megan Benson, these feathered friends are available as a set of seven or sold individually. Each bird ornament features beaded eyes, hand stitched wings, and needle-felted details, made from 100% New Zealand wool. All felt pieces are handcrafted by fair trade artisans in Nepal and assembled and packaged with love in our New Jersey studio.
