Designed to match the unique needs of smaller cats for optimal effectiveness. NAME OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES 1 ml of solution contains: Active ingredient: Imidacloprid 100 mg. One pipette of Advantage contains imidacloprid: * 40 mg (0.4 ml of 10% solution for cats with a body weight of up to 4 kg) Excipients: * Butylhydroxytoluene 1 mg; * Benzyl alcohol; * Propylene carbonate. INDICATIONS For the treatment and control of flea infestations in cats. One treatment prevents flea infestation for 3-4 weeks. Medicines can be used as part of a treatment plan for flea allergic dermatitis (FAD). CONTRAINDICATIONS * Do not use in unweaned kittens under 8 weeks of age. * Do not use in productive animals. * Do not use in case of increased sensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: Veterinary medicine has a bitter taste, and if the animal licks the treated area immediately after treatment, salivation can sometimes be observed. It is not a sign of intoxication and disappears within minutes without treatment. In very rare cases, signs of a skin reaction such as hair loss, redness, itching and skin lesions may be observed. Irritability may be observed. In exceptional cases, increased salivation and nervous disorders such as incoordination, tremors and depression can also be observed in cats. Treatment scheme: Weight of the cat: * Up to 4 kg: Advantage 100 mg/ml solution for instillation on the skin for cats with a body weight of up to 4 kg - 1 pipette x 0.4 ml. Imidacloprid dose – not less than 10 mg/kg. * If necessary, the treatment is repeated every 4 weeks. Re-infestation of fleas may occur 6 weeks or later after the last application, due to hatching of new fleas. Therefore, depending on the number of fleas in the environment, more than one treatment may be necessary. To prevent flea infestation from the environment, it is recommended to simultaneously use a product that acts against fleas and their developmental stages in the environment.
