When Mike asked us if we wanted to develop an exclusive knife collection together, we immediately agreed. Rua – The Turtle as a Symbol of Wisdom and Longevity Rua means turtle – a significant symbol in Vietnamese culture that embodies wisdom and long life. The turtle appears in numerous legends, including the famous story of Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi. There, King Lê Lợi received a sword from a magical turtle, with which he defeated his enemies.
