From the fear of disappearing in her own mind were born reflections about how to coexist with the many versions of oneself, but also pieces about Latino identity, marriage, motherhood, patriotism, and Star Wars. This chapbook is a love letter to the heroic role imagination and wonder plays in our everyday, adult, lives. It is also, she posits, what allowed her to find a new destination to her sunken ship.
