The brown Bodulo cover was designed by Khosi Leteba, as part of the “Young Basotho Designers Collection”. Its designs are inspired by Litema (pronounced “ditema”), the traditional wall art that tells the story of the traditional life of the Basotho people. Each symbol on the cover represents an aspect of daily life in Lesotho. Basotho blankets have profound cultural significance in Lesotho, where they are worn as part of daily life. Their unique design is created by local artists, and each design is approved by the Lesotho Royal Family. Their tight, thick weave is soft, warm, and repels rain and wind. The Basotho blanket is perfect for snuggling up on the sofa or can even be used on the floor, for a picnic or a nap in the sun.
