Organic version for this saffron syrup. This syrup has on the palate a certain bitterness and a taste of flowers. It can be used for example, for the preparation of an original kir for an aperitif. You can use this syrup with dry white wine, cremant or champagne. We recommend Deneufchatel champagne, white or raw white. It can also flavour a rum-based cocktail or just a good apple juice. In Greece, we pour it in the cafe! In the kitchen, you can use it to deglaze a duck breast or even a square of lamb. A fillet of syrup can pleasantly accompany a back of fish in the oven, or fine-tune a goat or sheep's cheese. On the dessert side, it serves to cover pancakes, waffles, toast, poached pear, vanilla ice cream or creme brulee. You can also use it in pastries!
