Inspired by the ancient Japanese notion of Kodama, which are spirits believed to inhabit trees, and said to bring good fortune into a home when trees are repurposed with respect and care. Blending beauty with function, the 360 degree rotating board is made from rich black walnut and hand-lacquered with a clear food-safe resin, showcasing the exquisite grain of the renowned American hardwood. The Azure pattern's blue, clear, and white adornment includes a selection of glass and natural minerals, such as, lapis, celestite, selenite, agate, and calcite.
