We are enamored with the bold colors and her winter fashion! Erté (1892-1990), birth name Romain de Tirtoff, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. Erté crafted stunning costume and fashion designs for the most celebrated actresses of his time, and his stage designs graced iconic venues such as New York's Radio City Music Hall and the Paris Opera. His artistic design in fashion, jewelry, graphic arts, costume and set design for film, theatre, opera, and interior decor rightfully earned him the title, "The Father of the Art Deco Movement."
