Unlike concrete that contains polymers like polyesters and acrylics, UHPC gains strength and durability from carefully graded aggregates with specific mineral composition and extremely low water ratios. Our hallmark mix is denser, harder, and more durable than hybrid mixes that use non cementitious admixtures like acrylics or polyesters. Casting PLC products with pure concrete has the added benefit of being suitable for food grade applications as we seal with FDA approved sealers and finish with a specially formulated vegetable based buffing compound.
