Here's the secret to making them... it's all in how you mix them. When you add the water, mix it just enough to moisten all the ingredients. If you add too much water or over mix them, you will end up with biscuits that flat and tough. But never fear, while they may look ugly, they taste very good! DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 400°F. In bowl, combine biscuit mix, chopped pecans and 2/3 cup of water. Carefully fold together using as few strokes as possible to moisten dough. Drop portions of dough onto lightly greased baking pan. Place in oven and cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until done. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and approximately 1 teaspoon of milk or water, then drizzle over baked biscuits. Yield 10-12 biscuits. Mix can be divided in half, simply modify amount of water used. Enjoy!
