8 x 10″ TWO-COLOR BLOCK PRINT, printed on white lightweight high-quality printmaking paper. A large white bird stretches its wings to greet the day. The background gradient is made with a “rainbow roll” of yellow and orange and will vary from print to print. Some are yellow-side-up and others are red-side-up. Each piece is unique and the juxtaposition between the bird and the sun are unique to each print. They are hand-pulled prints, so they’re imperfect. But that’s part of the charm of the medium.
