Hi Marcus, I’m sorry to hear you’re not happy with our brass rings. Since it’s made from solid brass, nothing should actually be flaking off. It’s possible the surface has oxidized a bit after exposure to air, which can sometimes create a rough or uneven appearance. The good news is that solid brass can be easily polished back up.
