Champurrado is an atole, a masa-based beverage, that consists of cacao, sugar, water or milk and spices. Our champurrado is made with single-origin 70% chocolate from our friends at Cru Chocolate. • 5 single serve packets. Each 1.5 oz packet serves 1 • Non-dairy, non-GMO, gluten-free • Ingredients: Masienda Heirloom White Corn Masa Harina, dark chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, salt Directions: Stovetop (recommended): Pour packet into a saucepan with 1 cup of water, milk or preferred milk alternative. Bring to a simmer and whisk until chocolate has completely dissolved. Champurrado is ready when it looks thick and shiny (about 5 minutes). Microwave: Pour packet into a microwave safe mug. Add 1 cup of water, milk or preferred milk alternative. Stir with a fork or whisk. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, pausing to stir once per minute until chocolate has fully dissolved.
