Description
You will receive one live costmary plant (Tanacetum balsamita) in a 2.5-inch pot. This aromatic perennial plant's flower stems may reach a height of 6'; 12-24" in height and spread are common for its loose rosette of silvery green leaves. Produces clusters of tiny yellow flowers in late summer. Tolerates partial shade, but flowers best in full sun. Has a shallow root system, prefers well-drained moist soil but tolerates drier conditions. Can become aggressive; cut back to maintain shape. Hardy in US zones 5-7.
