Wholesale Blue Bar Quilt

Approximately 35 x 43 inches This quilt is an exploration of a new idea for me! I used a whole cloth appliqué technique to break out of the rigidity of the square shape and create more organic shapes. The composition reminds me of sand bars in the ocean, so I named it Blue Bar. Cut from a mix of 100% natural fabrics including Japanese cotton, cotton linen blend, and European linen. The filling is 100% cotton with no artificial binders or fillers. The backing is a blue vintage fabric.  The quilt was made from start to finish in my Los Angeles, CA studio. I cut and assemble all the pieces, hand stitch the quilt together with high-quality cotton sashiko thread, and finish the edges with a durable double-fold bias binding. Finally, the quilt is washed for extra softness. This size is perfect for use as a baby blanket, to provide a cushion for tummy time, or as a comfort object (the texture is just that satisfying to the touch!). Care: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low, or hang to dry.
