Margaret Evans Price (1888-1973) was a multifaceted American artist known for her talents as a painter, illustrator, writer, muralist, and toy designer! After traveling Europe, she settled in New York City, collaborating with prestigious publishers as a freelancer. Her works graced galleries and adorned publications such as Pictorial Review and the Women's Home Companion. Upon marrying the co-founder of Fisher-Price Toys, she was the company's first Art Director, designing toys based on characters from her beloved children's books.
