In the illuminated manuscripts of Anne of Brittany's Grandes Heures, preserved at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, two motifs are selected this year: strawberry illuminations, and a plate representing irises. This work was commissioned by Queen Anne of Brittany from the illuminator Jean Bourdichon in the early years of the 16th century. This collection of notebooks and bookmarks has a gold background (screen-printed) in reference to the illuminations. Festive and cheerful, ideal for Christmas. The paper is made in a tank using artisanal processes, from cotton scraps.
