The Kalimba, also known as a thumb piano, produces a magical and very light sound. The first Kalimbas appeared in sub-Saharan Africa and date back to around 1,000 B.C. Made from high-quality rosewood, this Kalimba produces full mid-tones and subtle high-frequency tones. The exceptionally thin keys enhance resonance, providing a clear, clean, and sustained sound. Its shape is designed to offer an easier and more comfortable touch, due to its rounded edges and differentiated thickness.
