AOC GRAVES RED The Château du Mouret is adjacent to the Château Boyrein, formerly the Castle of the Lords of Gourgues. This estate, which bears the name of a locality in the town of Roaillan, includes 9 hectares of red gravel and 4 hectares of white gravel. The vineyard, facing south and south-west, is located on a gravelly slope. Dismantled over the decades, it has been gradually restored by the Médeville family, who have owned it since 1973. Grape varieties 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 45% Merlot 5% Cabernet Franc Tasting: Its color is garnet with purple reflections. In the nose, the aromas emerge with notes of black fruits, blackberries and tart cherries. The aftertaste is supple, giving way to round tannins. Volume, richness characterize it.
