This truly unique tatinga bowl was woven by hand in Zambia’s Western Province from the roots of indigenous makenge plants. When properly harvested the remaining roots regenerate quickly, making makenge a beautiful and ecologically sustainable material you can feel good about. Functional and decorative, these makenge bowls can be used as fruit bowls, for storage, or as unique natural accent pieces.
