Chelchele Farm, managed by Metad, is located about 400 km south of Addis Ababa. It was created in 2013 with 30 hectares in the heart of Yirgacheffe, a designation of origin known internationally for its high quality coffees. Metad works with more than 2,000 local farmers with a very precise traceability system in place. They cultivate the land at high altitude using ancestral artisanal practices.
