This simple and elegant yunomi (teacup) has a classic tsutsu-gata (筒形 - cylindrical shape) shape and is thrown from an iron-rich red clay, glazed in an iron-rich glaze resulting in a matte, almost metallic black. Its large 270ml capacity along with its classic shape makes this cup ideal for large brews all types of tea.
