The Sanskrit and Hindu word raktamani means "blood-red precious jewel." The Raktamani necklace is intense and vibrant; it evokes energy, grounding and vitality to help build self-confidence. Composed of 3 faceted rhodolite garnet drops interspersed with small gold cubes and faceted garnet beads. The upper part is enhanced by tiny golden hematite bead caps. Length 37 cm, extender chain 6 cm Lobster clasp, gold-plated brass, 24kt fine gold Each stone is meticulously selected and assembled in the Basque Country by me using fine stones and high-quality findings, not heat-treated, not dyed. The 18K or 24kt gold-plated findings, whose base metal is generally brass or stainless steel, are made by electrochemical or chemical plating to deposit a very thin layer of 18K or 24kt gold onto the base metal. The gold layer is about 1 micron. There is real gold on my findings, even if it is only a thin layer, and this provides better durability over time.
