Also referred to as Litha or Midsummer, the Summer Solstice takes place on June 21st each year in the Northern Hemisphere. This fire sabbat celebrates the beginning of summer, and, similar to Beltane, is considered a fortuitous time for weddings and unions of all kinds, especially friendships.
