An ancient Eastern legend has it that only tents that manage to climb the Blue River and cross the Waterfall will be transformed into beautiful golden-winged dragons- or in other words, koi fish-. We merged the stories of Japanese folklore and its tradition through paper modeling to design the Fish pendant; a jewel that “captures” the moment when the small carp takes the big final leap to become a beautiful koi fish. Strung on a Venetian silver chain, this fish jewel made of layers of die-cut paper is a symbol of perseverance and strength; because like the resistant koi, it has been specially trained to overcome the “tidal waves” and onslaughts of everyday life. Just in case, we have equipped it with a good layer of anti-shock and anti-humidity reinforcement so that no matter what happens, you can always wear it as a faithful reminder of inner strength.
