The history of Turrones y Miel Alemany began at the end of the 19th century, when Mrs. Mundeta made a candy with honey and local nuts. Since Montsec is a rough and difficult terrain for cultivation, this activity was a good alternative for them. The distinctive feature of Alemany nougat is due to a 19th-century recipe that gives the paste a characteristic white color.
