Description
Original print celebrating Samhain, a Celtic festival that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter and is a time when the veil between the living and the spirit world is believed to be thinnest, allowing ancestors and supernatural beings to visit. The print features symbolic illustrations of a Celtic knot, a crow, barmbrack and a ring, blackberries, thistles, hazelnuts and the entrance passage to the neolithic 'Mound of the Hostages' on the Hill of Tara, along with the text 'Time will pass and things will change' Part of a series of four prints, celebrating: Samhain, Lughnasa, Bealtaine and Imbolc. Each print has all been handcrafted with care and attention to detail, printed in my home studio onto A4 (11.7 x 8.2 inches), acid-free heavyweight paper and signed by me. *Colours might look a little different depending on your screen* Follow me below if you'd like to keep up to date with the artwork I'm currently making! instagram.com/lolanthe tiktok.com/@lolanthe_
