For over 40 years, the brand VMP has been producing handcrafted, high-quality belts with interchangeable VMP buckles at our production facility in Italy. Each belt is shipped in a high-quality VMP bag and with a VMP article label. With our belts and the original interchangeable system of matching buckles, more than a million combinations can be individually assembled — the right belt for every day and every occasion. During the production of a belt, all steps are still carried out by hand, ranging from cutting to final inspection. For a simple cowhide belt, about 30 manual steps are involved. For more complex belts, such as our studded belts, several additional steps are naturally added. The wide stitching is also, of course, threaded by hand on many belts.
