Tagua, is a nut that grows in South America, and is carved by hand by local artisans in Colombia. Tagua is also known as vegetable Ivory, because of its resemblance with animal Ivory. The earrings are 1.5 inches approximately, from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the tagua bead.
