It is colourless to white with some hints of yellow. It most commonly is found as small white "Cotton ball" Formations and clusters of straight, fibrous crystals within basalt geodes or attached to Gyrolite which is a rare sodium calcium silicate hydrate mineral. This crystal is a member of the Zeolite family and crystallizes in the form of spherical structures normally bright white in colour. Okenite is known as the Stone of the New Age. These crystals are extremely fragile and should be handed carefully. The fibres are so fine they can cause splinters.
