Chocolate bar with extra virgin olive oil D.O.P. dei Monti Iblei Centuries-old olive trees that follow each other with dry stone walls, in a slow slope of quarries towards the sea and the large canyons as a side dish. South of Sicily, near the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, the Hyblean Mountains are born and, with them, the millenary Sicilian olive tradition that would date back to the period of Magna Graecia. The extra virgin olive oil of the Iblei Mountains, a PDO and slow food garrison, is still produced today as 2000 years ago: after selecting and harvesting the olives, they are cold pressed within 48 hours, without add chemical additives and perform additional physical manipulations. The fruity flavor and the fresh scent of the oil produced by Frantoio Oleario Ruta meet, for our handmade line, a fine single-origin cocoa.
