“Quarry Beach” Print. Part two in the “Bay Area Wonders” collection, inspired by my favorite places in the Bay Area. This piece is heavily inspired by a view overlooking Quarry Beach on Angel Island, in the San Francisco Bay. Walking along this shore, it feels far away from the bustling urban areas that surround the island. While all places contain simultaneous histories (search "Angel Island Immigration Detention" to learn of the xenophobic history here), Angel Island exists today as a state park, and is almost entirely green space. I have always enjoyed spending time on the island and relaxing on this beach. Giclée fine art print for an enduring and premium product.
