Description
A striking and geometric pair of earrings in a pointed chandelier of triangles and dots. The dot detailing is inspired by a style of Indian Rajasthani traditional tribal design call "rava work," but in these earrings, taken to a totally unique modern form. And like many earrings in my collection, they are also inspired by one of the classic symbols for Shakti (the sacred feminine), which is the downward facing triangle. In nickel-free pure brass (gold in color) with sterling silver ear wires (standard earring gauge) and a strong, durable tube closure. Each earring weighs approximately a 1/4 ounce - 0.24 ounces/6.9 grams - making them a lovely lightweight earring. They hang 3"/78mm long from the top of the wire and are 1-1/2"/38mm across. Brass will naturally oxidize to slightly more antiqued tone over time. If you would like it to be bright golden again, lemon juice is a great natural brass polish, or you can use a commercial brass polish.
