Three packets of Rainbow brand sewing needles, "A la Pensée" series, Superfine Sharps sizes No. 8, No. 9 and No. 10. Packets in dark brown waxed paper, labels illustrated with a gold pansy on a white background, bearing the legend "Superfine Sharps" and the size number. Needles mounted on blue paper, present in the packets. Inner label "Garantie L.J." on one of them. Rainbow is an English haberdashery needle brand, imported and distributed in France during the first half of the 20th century. The three different sizes (8, 9, 10) correspond to increasingly fine needles, used for sewing and embroidery. The original packets, with their illustrated labels fully preserved, are collectible items for enthusiasts of vintage haberdashery.
