Description
Matisse spent the last years of his life making paper cutouts — bold, gestural shapes in flat color, arranged and rearranged until something felt right. He called it "drawing with scissors." The point wasn't to plan it out in advance. The point was to keep moving things around until the composition told you it was done. This bracelet works the same way. Natural white organic freshwater pearls and 14K gold filled beads strung on a lightweight Japan-made wire, each one free to slide and shift along the length — so you decide every morning how today's composition looks. More pearls to the left. Beads clustered in the center. Spread them out evenly if that's the mood. Rearrange whenever you feel like it. There's no wrong arrangement. That's the whole point. Details: * Material: 14K gold filled beads, Japan-made wire * Pearl: Natural white organic freshwater pearl * Design: Sliding elements — fully rearrangeable * Inspired by: Matisse's paper cutouts and the art of happy rearrangement
