This dried fruit, the Bohemian olive or Senjid in Persian language, is grown in the plains of Afghanistan. This berry has several names because it is little known to the public because it is only cultivated in Iran and Afghanistan. This small berry resembles an olive in size and shape but is completely different in its unique taste and texture. The Bohemian olive has a tart and melty taste. It is natural, and does not contain any preservatives or additives. It goes very well as an aperitif, or infused in a glass of tea or glass of wine.
