Peacock Ore (also known as Bornite) crystallizes in the form of masses and, occasionally, in the form of cubic and rhombidodecahedron crystals. The colour is a red-brown and is enhanced by an iridescent tarnish produced in a variety of colours (e.g., purple, yellow, blue, turquoise, rose, etc.).
