The slicker is an effective moulting and detangling tool To use the slicker, slowly and gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The bendy pins will pull away loose hairs hair leaving a smooth and neat coat. If your dog is comfortable with the slicker, press gently on the tool to remove more fur from the undercoat. The pins of the slicker are bendy to prevent discomfort, however, do not press them into your dog's skin. To remove a tangle, isolate the fur and gently pull the slicker through the tangle, starting from the outside and working in as the fur de-tangles.
