The placemats and coasters are then finished with a hard-wearing cork back that protects precious furniture. I had contacted the Spode Company through Faire and asked about items made in China. There response was vague as to what items were or weren’t, but said some were. All of my order was made in china. They would not give me a list of items made in the UK
