Sewn-through Design Comforters (sometimes called Bavarian Design) * The top and bottom layer of the comforter are simple sewn together to create pockets of fill. * It’s much harder to create evenly-distributed fill with this method, meaning that cold pockets of thin fill may be present, as well as large uneven clumps. Heat also easily escapes through the sewing, as there is nothing but the thread holding it back. * Additionally, sewn-through pockets are much smaller than baffle boxes and restrict the fill’s ability to move and remain fluffy. Thus, sewn-through comforters can quickly become flat and dull. This comforter is available in Full/Queen and King sizes. We also offer two weights: Summer and All Season. Our Summer fill is a bit lighter than the All Season. It's perfect for warm summer months or for folks who live in the sunbelt all year round.
