The new version in Black Iron adds a touch of industrial design to the elegance and simplicity that characterized the Time Line Wall Clock. The Time Line wall clock is made from a laser-cut Calamine Steel sheet. The Calamine Steel used for the special Time Line series is a sought-after and unconventional material. Calamine is the oxide layer that forms on the surface of steel products during hot processing; the sheet used for the new Time Line thus features chromatic irregularities and "flames" that make each product a unique piece with industrial charm. Time Line, like all clocks in the dESIGNoBJECT collection, is a handcrafted product, made with the utmost attention to detail and by selecting the best materials. What contributes to making the wall clock a sought-after object of superior quality compared to many other products on the market is the screen printing, rigorously done by hand in our workshop. The incorporated movement is from the German company Junghans, a company specialized in high-end watchmaking; this makes the clock silent and reliable over time. Clock Handcrafted in Calamine Steel The "Time Line Special Edition" clock is made in "Black Iron Calamine": a carbon steel that retains, through special processing, the appearance of "natural" iron, i.e., stains, flames, and traces of corrosion. These "imperfections" give the artifact a lived-in look and industrial charm. Clock Hand Screen-Printed in Geometric Style Screen printing is the ARTISANAL – ARTISTIC technique through which we print small series of clocks and magnetic boards.
