Description
A Fata Morgana is an optical illusion in which a ship way out at sea appears to be floating in the sky over the horizon. Bent light, like a mirage, etc. Very cool. You can look it up later. Anyway, we're digging the haunting, honey-scented, vintage feel of these buttercream buff-white counterparts to the Black Knight Scabiosa. Scabiosa are an easy to grow and dependable burst of color. Sturdy little flowers on long stems rise above a pretty mound of foliage, and have a cottage garden feel with an urban edge. Includes 50 seeds.

Seeds have a date stamp on them for the year that they are to be sold in, so 2022 seeds would have been sold fall/winter of 2021 and through the spring/summer/early fall of 2022 to be replaced by 2023 seeds in late fall/winter of 2022. I received 2022 stamped seeds in the fall of 2021, which means I would be unable to have them on my sales floor in 2023. Hence, old seeds. It makes me question if this company is run by people who actually know gardening/plant retail?
