Silver drop earrings with delicate sapphire set with the cast-in-place technique, for an organic, effortlessly chic look. These earrings are made by using the ancient lost-wax technique, where the wax masters have been slowly hand carved in a jewellery-grade wax, then the sapphire were placed directly into the wax (hence the name cast-in-place) before cast them all together in recycled sterling silver by a small casting house here in London. A final round of soldering to secure the jump rings and the ear wires was all they needed before being sent to the London Goldsmiths' Assay Office to be fully hallmarked.
