Smelt is loaded with nutrients like omega-3s, calcium, vitamin D and B, and phosphorus. Omega-3 helps reduce joint pain, improve organ function, boost immunity, and helps their coat and skin stay healthy. Calcium and Vitamin D helps build and protect healthy bones and teeth. Phosphorus and Vitamin B helps convert food into energy. Since smelt is a smaller fish, they have less mercury content than other fish, lowering the risk of poisoning. These fish are also soft-boned so you can feed them whole, which makes it easier to feed. Each bag contains 3 oz of smelt. These were dehydrated raw in low heat.
