Description
A perfect pigeon for your pleasure! Handcrafted from salvaged materials and my "top secret" posh paper mache mix. This mini sized bird is quite robust, the structure is made from paper and reclaimed wood with metal feet attached to create a steady base. The work measures 5cm w by 12cm l by 11cm h approximately and appeals to adults and children alike. Each piece is unique so will vary a little in appearance. Every one is individually sculpted and hand painted, with a little decoupage for fun. My designs look appealing displayed in a group, with some available in oversized versions which make more impact. The finished product is varnished and can go outdoors - current tests find them unaffected after one year - extreme heat should be avoided. These look absolutely lovely in my small studio shop, they've been a real talking point with my customers and there was a rush to buy the only seagull I had. I've just put in a second order as my shelves look bare without the birds. Beautifully made, it's so lovely that I can buy genuinely handmade items and it's worth the short wait to get them. :)

Beautifully made with brilliant detailing including the magazine clipping which are brilliantly chosen. Even though the lead time is (understandably quite long for Tania to make the birds for the order she managed to get them to me much quicker which I really appreciated.
